Telecom Minister A Raja has fatigued afresh this morning that he will not abandon admitting architecture burden from the Opposition, and some say, from the Congress party, with whom Raja's party, the DMK, is in an alliance.
Raja is accused of costing the Government Rs. 1.76 lakh crore in his allocation of 2G spectrum in 2008. He skipped an auction, allotment instead to accord licenses to companies whose accommodation has been questioned - some were absolute acreage developers, for example, and resold their licenses at massive gain. Whether Raja undervalued 2G spectrum is actuality advised by the Supreme Court.
