Today Supreme court announced the plastic pouches banned from next year March 2011 onwards. So, coming years tobacco products(gutkha and pan masala) will not used the plastic pouches.

Supreme court bench justices G S Singhvi and A K Gangulyare ordered to the tobacco manufactures to use the alternative pouches from March 2011.

Supreme court provide the eight weeks time line to the manufacturers alternative solutions.Plastics provide the human health and also environmental problems. Court take this step. We will wait and watch new pouch without environmental issues?
