After a three days breakthrough, on Monday police arrested two of the murderer of Gurgaon Toll Plaza attendant, repot says. Vijayvir was identified as the one who fired the shot at booth operator UMeshkant Pandey and Manjeet said to be the second person who was also arrested.
Police zeroed a suspect who went to the crime scene 47 minutes after the shooting. CCTV footage shows the suspect talking to booth operators has been handed over to police by the Delhi Gurgaon Super Connectivity Limited. The footage shows the suspect went to the toll plaza at Kherki Dhaula on a motorbike and enquired about the victim’s health.
Suspicious traffic marshals tried to catch the man but he escaped after a long chase. Due to toll collectors delayed report to their seniors gave the suspect enough time to disappear.
Umeshkant Pandey, 22, the Booth operator was killed by two men who refused to pay the toll after an argument in a Mahindra Bolero.
The Gurgaon-Expressway toll plaza management failed to note the registration number of the killers’ vehicle captured in CCTV, on the night of the murder.
