A girl was seriously injured when 2 unidentified youth riding a bike allegedly threw acid on her at a petroleum pump in Dhaun village in Punjab's Mohali district on Thursday.

Police officers said the lads drove up to the petrol pump and threw acid at the woman when she was refueling her automotive.

The woman is reported to possess been seriously injured. Her friends have suffered minor injuries likewise. Police are gazing the CCTV footage to collect leads on the attackers.
