TRAI- Telecom Regulatory Authority of India raishing the question to the government to  can 70 licences in the telecom 2g Services in the new five players like  Etisalat, Videocon, Uninor, Loop and Sistema-Shyam.

The TRAI recommended cancellation of the following way,

Etisalat licences 15, Sistema-Shyam licences  10, Uninor licences 8, Videocon licences  10, and Loop licences  19.

TRAI also recommended  penalty for non-compliance with the roll-out obligations, said this amount could run into several thousands of crores.
