Easter is a time of springtime festivals. Easter is celebrated as the religious holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the son of God, on the third day after his death on the cross. Easter is observed by the churches on the first Sunday. Following the full moon that occurs on or following the spring equinox (March 21). So Easter becomes a ‘movable’ feast which can occur as early as March 22nd or as late as April 25th . Easter celebrations start with Good Friday, which marks the crucification of Jesus Christ. Christians attend Mass at the church and have a feast of rejoicing thereafter.
