2G issues lists from Pranab to PM

New Delhi: A letter from Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh describes the note on 2G by his ministry to PMO on March of this year. The former telecom Minister A.Raja was not forced to auction spectrum by P Chidambaram’s ministry powers, the note quotes.

Inclusive of PMO with all inputs from various ministries was prepared in contentious note, Pranab reports to PM in his letter. Also, a letter from Senior Congress leader suggests that the decision to write the note was made on a meeting happened at March 14th and 15th with officials of Finance, Telecom and Law Ministry and the PMO. He added, everyone knew about it including the Cabinet Secretary too.

As the note was a classified document, how come it could be released by PMO by RTI, questions Pranab. Last week a note on Political inflammatory was accessed with a Right to Information application and was presented in Supreme Court.

The note from Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee to the PMO on March 25th states about the presumptive losses worth about thousands of crores, report suggests if Chidambaram used his ministry in a proper way this could have been avoided. Congress party is in a great political storm by the 2G note and its detailed explanations to the public.

The note was talked about the rift between the two high power ruling parties. Nevertheless, to the limit Chidamabram was backed by both Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh. Repeatedly a statement was said by PM was Chidambaram “enjoys his confidence”, where as all the party men asked to back the Home Minister by Congress President. In the same moment this issue became fresh ammunition to the opposition party is being bay for the Home Minister’s blood for the past week.
